The story of the Bible: how it was written, by whom, when, methods of copying, translations, canonization, different textual families, concepts of inspiration, etc. The story of how the Bible came into being and was transmitted to us is a foundation for further study of Scripture, but it is also a revelation in and of itself. Knowing how our Scriptures were written and chosen gives us great insight into how we are meant to use them to know more about our God and how to live in relationship with him and each other.
