We want to make counseling available to all who need it.
One of the major hurdles between people and the help they need is, of course, cost. To help bring costs into a range that anyone can afford, theeffect has developed a sliding fee schedule for pastoral counseling:
For each one hour session, we charge a rate equal to one dollar for each throusand dollars of annual income with a minimum fee of $50 and a maximum fee of $150. So for instance if a person has an annual income of $50,000, the fee for an hour session would be $50.
In this way, we hope to make pastoral care and counseling readily available to everyone and anyone.
Clinical therapy and addiction counseling are charged at reasonable market rates. Clinical counseling can often be reimbursed through insurance coverage, and in some cases, insurance companies will accept pastoral counseling as reimbursable under their health plans. Although theeffect doesn’t accept payment directly from insurance carriers, we will work with our clients’ carriers to meet their standards for approval of insurance payouts to our clients. |
