Somehow we know without being told that our deepest problems won’t be entirely solved out of a book or clinical program. We can’t just think our way through or even let someone pull us through a crisis as intense as alcohol and chemical addiction. Partnered with those who are willing, we need to live our way through--embracing the spiritual and human relationships that can’t be denied or neglected without recovery remaining a forever-receding horizon.
We understand this at theeffect and are committed to providing the direction and physical tools needed for people to break through their destructive patterns while establishing a community approach for long term recovery and transformation.

We’ve learned that true transformation, recovery, and rehabilitation is not possible without immersion in an authentic community. Our Day Treatment programs help create ongoing relationships and focus on encouraging and helping people to actively partner in their own recovery--that is, taking their recovery programs into every moment and every aspect of their lives.
theeffect Day Treatment offers specific recovery programs, but also creates an ongoing and seamless community presence through daily gatherings and activities such as studies, discussion groups, social and youth-centered events, classes, and workshops. Counseling and mentoring services are available, as well as access to AA, NA, OA, and Al-Anon meetings on site--everything people need to repair their relationships, families, jobs, and baseline ability to live in community.
